Serve DC supports DC community-based organizations with volunteer recruitment through its "Volunteer Bulletin." The Serve DC Volunteer Bulletin is a periodic e-listing of local volunteer opportunities that connects residents with meaningful service and helps nonprofit organizations expand their outreach and promotion efforts.
Volunteer Bulletin entries are collected on a first-come, first-served, rolling basis and must occur in the District. Organizations interested in having their volunteer opportunity listed in the Bulletin should email Serve DC with a brief summary, times, dates, locations, etc. approximately four- to six-weeks in advance of their event or recruitment date. Unfortunately, we cannot always guarantee placement in the Volunteer Bulletin, as it is distributed as space, scheduling and requests permit.
