Volunteer and Donate


Serve DC manages a unique and state of the art donations process, which allows District agencies including DCPS, to solicit and accept donations from outside sources. In addition to augmenting the District's in-kind and financial resources, which support programs and services, the donations process, promotes greater accountability and transparency in the District government, and ensures compliance with federal and local ethic's guidelines.

Individuals and organizations should review and complete the following forms if they are interested in making a donation through the District government:

COVID-19 Volunteer and Donations Resource Portal

Volunteers are a critical stakeholder to our collective work to support the residents of the District of Columbia. Therefore, their sustainability is of great importance especially in light of this health emergency. Serve DC's Volunteer and Donations Resource Portal is city-wide, web-based platform that successfully streamlines the activation of volunteer and donation opportunities.

Fund to Advance Washington, DC

The Fund to Advance Washington, DC is grateful for the support of foundations, corporations, and individuals dedicated to improving the lives of residents of the Nation's Capital. Gifts to the Fund to Advance Washington, DC will support impactful public programs serving some of the District's greatest needs.
