Natalie Wasserman
AmeriCorps Program Officer
Natalie Wasserman is currently serving as the AmeriCorps Program Officer. Previously she served as the Serve DC Civic Engagement AmeriCorps VISTA member. In this position she focused primarily on heading up the InterCorps Council (ICC), a council of current AmeriCorps members who serve in the DC area. Prior to joining Serve DC, Natalie served as a corps member in Class 13 out of the Southeast Region campus of AmeriCorps *NCCC (National Civilian Community Corps). During her *NCCC year, she completed community service projects in South Carolina, Mississippi, Louisiana and Kentucky with organizations such as The Salvation Army, The Boys and Girls Club of America, Habitat for Humanity and the Palmetto Trail Conservation Foundation. Natalie received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science with a minor in Spanish from the University of California at Berkeley.
When Natalie is away from work, she likes to be outside as much as possible and actively cheers for the San Francisco Giants and the California Golden Bears. She hails from Fairfax, CA, and currently resides in Ward 1. |
